Jet Li Vs Somali Pirates Vs Dolph the scientist Vs the increasing regularity of other people’s suicides…

In Uncategorized on September 19, 2010 at 12:28 pm

Don’t really have much of anything to do at the moment.Gotta save cash and don’t have many friends so can’t really get out there and live life in any interesting way…Don’t wanna write anything right now as I’m getting sick of what I write…i should just write really short things…only one or two pages about something I’ve seen…

    Write something about The Expendables?

The direction Stallone gave to various people?

    Lundgren? Statham? Eric Roberts?

    Is there a story there?

I could mention that Jet Li interview I read last night…about the representation of Islam and how he talked Stallone out of using muslims as the bad guys at the start of the film…because not all muslims are bad guys, and they always seem to be played as bad guys…

So, use Somali pirates instead…that’s what he said…what Jet Li said…

There are no hero pirates in Somalia, I guess…

    Hang on, what’s this?

    An interview, Stallone on Lundgren:

“Contrary to the way he looks he’s actually really smart,” Sylvester said of Dolph.

“He’s, like, this beautiful guy, 6ft 5ins. Viking guy, 29ins waist. I’m like, ‘He’s got to

be a moron,’ and then I find out he’s an MIT graduate, he’s done chemical

engineering, he’s a full scholar. I’m like, ‘Are you serious? Him?’ Can you imagine

him in a lab going, ‘Yes. I will cure this rat of something?’ It’s amazing, look at the

              transformation. From scientist to savage.”

_______________________________

    It’s strange…Why didn’t Dolph become a scientist?the rats…

    What about all the rats?

I wonder how many there are in HK? Assuming they’re good at hiding, and they know when we’re about, there must be over a million…maybe more…

    More rats than people?

Going a little off track here…stick to the film and Stallone?Or write about something else?
Write about Lucy Gordon? It’s a year and a half old, but maybe not many people know about it…she wasn’t super famous…she’d done the Gainsbourg film and that’s about it…

But isn’t it insensitive to write about a suicide? And a suicide I didn’t know…?

But there’s something about it…maybe not as strong as the Korean model, but still…

Both happened in Paris, both had boyfriends…

No, skip it…there’s not enough to say…

But there does seem to be more suicide lately…

I don’t know why, but in HK, in Korea, in Paris, more people are choosing it…

When did it become easier to die?

And what’s happening in Paris that’s so depressing?

    Paris is romance-…

Paris is the city of romance and if people can’t be happy there then…then they know that’s it, there’s only one thing left…

    But it’s not Paris…

    It can’t be Paris…

They did it in their apartments and Paris isn’t in the apartment…

    Is it?

    Fuck it.

    No one wants the-…

No one wants to analyse suicide…

    What else is there?

    The news?

Pick a story from the news and write about it?

    The Manilla bus thing?

Too political. Might get some anger charging onto the Gupter site…

Might get some people on the Gupter site…

    No, too obvious.

Write something about some place smaller instead?

    What’s happening in Ecuador?

    Or Honduras?

That lit up a little last year…

    Was it last year?

    I think so…

    What’s happening there now?

    Google it?

Google it and write a story about the ousted President…his attempts to get back into the country and into power…

    Is it worth it?

    I don’t know…

It’s just gonna be me isn’t it?

I don’t know any presidents and I’ve never had that kind of power so…it’s just gonna be me…my head inside a president…Honduras and the ousted Oli…

    Man, I need a break.

    A long fucking break.

    Or should I promote others?

Sideline the writing for a while, and promote people I like…

    Not sure…

I’ve never really helped anyone else before…

    Have I?

    Should I?

  1. And they found Noemie Lenoir half dead in the Bois de Boulogne. And Katoucha drowned in the Seine.

It’s likely just the high concentration of models, 24 hour pharmacies, forests and massive beautiful rivers and apartments with their original pre-Hausmannian wooden beams.

And sometime I would see models wandering around where I worked looking so lost. Like they would need to ask their little dog they were carrying which direction they needed to go.

  2. You lived in Paris? Modelling? Little dogging?

    S. Korea has a high suicide rate too. And a really one-sided culture where women are fucked if they’re not pretty by 18, and married at 28.

And then there’s HK. Lots of girls want to be models here, though they don’t seem to kill themselves very often. Only the schoolkids do that.

So why Paris? Or is it just a sudden grouping of suicides by the media?

Probably nothing to do with Paris, actually.

    Oli
